Pizzeria LA CASINA, on the corner of Viale Roma and Via Arno in Marina di Massa. Their pizzas are excellent and their prices reasonable 
and they have a wonderful list of home-made desserts !

Restaurant L'AQUILA, Via Brugiana 4, Massa. A short drive from the centre of Massa, it has a fabulous position up in the mountains and offers typical Massa cuisine. Speciality dishes with "funghi" and grilled meat.

Pizzeria POLLA DI TOMMASO, Via dei Colli 103, Pariana. A 10 minutes drive from Massa in the first hills. Typical italian pizzeria run by family. Very good pizza's and focaccia but also an excellent 'antipasto misto' (starter) and beefsteak from grill.

Ristorante Pizzeria AGO, behind Forte dei Marmi in Via dei Martiri de S. Anna, 18. Their speciality is fish dishes and we suggest you start with the fish antipasti (hors d'oeuvres) which are wonderful and, if you're not very hungry, move on to their desserts (dolci) which they serve rather like the hors d'oeuvres - lots of small quantities to try!
